When you place an order with Melora Beauty (referred to as "Melora", "we", "us" or "our") for any products sold through our website ("Products"), you accept these Terms and Conditions ("Terms").
Take the time to read these Terms and Conditions closely. Should anything be unclear or leave you unhappy, get in touch with our customer service team before you place an order.
Our Terms and Conditions are updated from time to time. You will find the date of the most recent update at the top of the document. Each time you order from us, the version that is in force at the moment of ordering governs your purchase. If we alter the Terms and Conditions in a way that materially affects your order, we will contact you before it takes effect to explain the change – and how to cancel your purchase should you not agree to it.

3. Application
These terms and conditions cover every offer and every distance purchase made from Melora Beauty.
Ahead of any purchase, these terms and conditions will be made available to you. Should it not be possible to display them straight away, we will tell you how else you can conveniently read them, for instance by email. On request, we will always send them to you at no charge.
When you buy online, the terms and conditions are provided in a form you can store, such as a PDF.
Where separate terms apply to a specific product or service, they are added to these terms and conditions. If the two conflict, the terms that are most favourable to you as the customer take precedence.
4. Offers
Any time limit or special condition attached to an offer will be stated clearly. We aim to describe our products precisely and thoroughly. Any images used should give a fair picture of the product. Evident mistakes in offers are not binding on us.
Every offer includes enough detail for you to know what the purchase involves.
5. When an agreement arises
A purchase agreement is formed once you accept an offer and complete the purchase on the terms set out.
If you order online, we email you a confirmation straight away. Up until that confirmation reaches you, you are free to cancel your order whenever you like.
Once confirmed, the right of withdrawal takes the place of cancellation.
Every online transmission is safeguarded with suitable security technology, and we comply with the law when processing personal data and verifying payments.
We may decline orders where there is cause for suspicion, such as outstanding debts or misuse.
No later than at delivery, you will be given written or electronic details on:
- How to contact us with complaints
- How to exercise the right of withdrawal, or whether it is not applicable
- Which warranties and after-sales service are included
- Total price including taxes
- Any shipping costs
- Payment and delivery information
- How to terminate a possible ongoing contract
- The standard withdrawal form
For subscriptions, these details accompany the first delivery.
6. Right of withdrawal
You may cancel the purchase of a product within 14 days, and you do not need to explain why. We are allowed to ask, but whether you answer is entirely up to you.
The withdrawal period starts the day after the goods reach you or someone you have named.
Where one order contains several items, the period starts once the last item arrives. For a subscription or an order delivered in parts, the withdrawal period runs from the first delivery.
Services and digital content that are not delivered in physical form also carry a 14-day withdrawal period, counted from the day after the contract is made.
Should we fail to tell you about your right of withdrawal or to send the standard form, the period is prolonged by as much as 12 months. If we supply the correct information within that time, you then have 14 days from that date.
Section 7 – Consumer's responsibility during the cooling-off period
While the withdrawal period runs, you are expected as a consumer to treat the product and its packaging carefully. You may open or use the product only as far as needed to establish its properties, function and character – in the same way as you could when testing it in a shop.
Handling the product beyond what is needed to assess these properties can make you liable for any reduction in its value.
You bear no liability for a drop in value if Melora Cosmetics did not give you proper information about the right of withdrawal prior to purchase.
Section 8 – Exercising your right of withdrawal and the costs involved
To cancel your purchase, you need to inform Melora Cosmetics during the withdrawal period, either with our standard form or in some other unambiguous way (for example by email).
Afterwards, the goods must be sent back without delay and at the latest 14 days after the day you told us you were withdrawing. Alternatively, you can hand them in personally or through an appointed representative, where we offer that option. A return counts as timely if the goods are dispatched before the 14 days run out.
Please send the product back as you received it, ideally in the original packaging, complete with all accessories and following our return instructions.
It is up to you to make sure the return is dispatched properly and in good time. The cost of return shipping is also yours to bear - unless we have told you differently.
For digital content (delivered without a physical item), you owe nothing if:
- you did not explicitly agree to delivery beginning before the withdrawal period ended,
- you were not told that giving your consent means losing the right of withdrawal,
- Melora has not confirmed this in writing.
Cancelling a purchase also ends any related supplementary agreements automatically.
Section 9 – Our actions at Melora Cosmetics when a purchase is cancelled
Should you tell us by email or another electronic channel that you are cancelling, we will confirm receipt right away.
Every payment you made, delivery charges included (if any), is returned to you within 14 days of the day you informed us about the withdrawal.
The refund may be held back until the product has reached us again, or until you can show it has been shipped - whichever happens first.
The money goes back via the payment method you originally used, unless you ask for something else. No fee is ever charged to you for a refund.
Had you picked a delivery method costlier than our standard shipping, only the price of standard delivery will be refunded.
Section 10 – Cases where the right of withdrawal is not applicable
Melora Cosmetics is allowed to rule out the right of withdrawal for some goods and services, though only when this is made clear prior to purchase.
The right of withdrawal does not extend to:
- Products or services priced according to market fluctuations that we cannot influence.
- Purchase at public auction.
- Completed services, if:
- you accepted that the service could start before the cooling-off period was over, and
- you were told that the right of withdrawal lapses as a result.
- Reservations of lodging, transport, rental cars or events tied to particular dates.
- Leisure activities with fixed dates.
- Items produced to your own specification or evidently personalised.
- Items that spoil fast or have a limited shelf life.
- Sealed items that, on health or hygiene grounds, cannot be sent back after the seal is opened.
- Items that have become blended with other things so that they cannot be separated.
- Alcoholic drinks set for delivery at a later date, with a value that depends on the market.
- Audio/video recordings and software in sealed packaging that has been opened.
- Newspapers and magazines (not subscriptions).
- Digital content supplied without a physical item, if you:
- you consented to delivery starting ahead of the end of the withdrawal period, and
- were told that doing so means giving up the right of withdrawal.
Section 11 – Prices
Prices stay fixed for as long as an offer is valid – apart from adjustments to VAT required by law.
Some products may have fluctuating prices because they depend on outside market factors (such as exchange rates). Where that is so, we will make it plain to you.
During the first three months after the agreement is made, prices may rise only where a law or regulation demands it. After three months, an increase is allowed only if:
- the reason is a change in legislation,
- we told you in so many words that this could happen and you are able to end the agreement as of the day the increase starts.
All prices on our website include VAT.
Section 12 – Compliance and Warranty
Melora Cosmetics assures you that our products and services match what descriptions and agreements promise, and that they follow current laws and regulatory demands.
Where we have agreed on particular uses for the product, that is guaranteed as well.
Further guarantees given by us, manufacturers or suppliers leave your legal rights as a consumer unaffected.
“Extra warranty” refers to optional commitments that grant you wider rights than the law requires.
Section 13 – Product Descriptions
Product descriptions and pictures on our website are prepared in good faith and serve as guidance. The real products can vary a little.
The packaging can look different from the pictures. We try to show colours faithfully, but your screen settings may cause deviations.
Section 14 – Purchase Policies
No more than eight (8) units of the same article can be bought per order – and eight in total per customer over any twelve months. We are entitled to decline or cancel orders without stating a reason.
Everything we offer, whether products, services or samples, is for private use only – never for resale.
If we suspect our purchase terms are being misused, we may restrict the quantity ordered. Samples are handed out while stocks last.
Section 15 – Delivery and Performance
Melora Cosmetics handles every order with great care – from the moment it arrives until it is delivered. The same goes when you order a service.
Your order is delivered to the address you gave at checkout.
Melora ships within 30 days, except where a different delivery date has been agreed. If delivery is late, or the order cannot be completed in full or in part, we will let you know within 30 days of your order.
You are then entitled to cancel the purchase without cost and may qualify for compensation. Any amount you have already paid will be returned to you promptly.
Responsibility for damage or loss moves to you only once the product has been handed over to you or to a recipient you have named - unless something else is agreed.
Section 16 – Agreement Term: Length, Termination and Renewal
Termination
An open-ended agreement under which you regularly receive products or services can be ended by you whenever you choose. The notice period will not exceed one (1) month, unless agreed differently.
An agreement for recurring delivery with a set term can be ended when that term finishes. A notice period of one (1) month at most applies in this case as well.
You always get:
- end the contract at any moment, with no fixed point in time you are bound to
- end the contract using the same method by which you entered it
- end it on the same notice that Melora Cosmetics applies for itself
Extension
A contract with a set term cannot be extended or renewed automatically.
Exception: a contract with a set term may be prolonged by three (3) months at most, provided you can end it on one month's notice.
Agreements that continue on an open-ended basis can be ended whenever you wish, on a notice period not exceeding one (1) month.
Duration
For agreements running over one year, you can end them at any point once the first year has passed – giving at most one month's notice, unless special or reasonable grounds point to something else.
Section 17 – Payment
Unless stated differently, payment falls due 14 days after the cooling-off period starts. Where there is no cooling-off period, payment is due 14 days after you entered the contract.
For service contracts, the time limit starts counting the day after our confirmation reaches you.
We do not ask for more than 50% of the total sum upfront, unless agreed otherwise. If you have agreed to prepay, we can hold off on processing the order until your payment is in.
It is your duty to tell us about any wrong payment details.
If payment is late and, after we have sent a reminder and allowed a further 14 days, nothing has been paid, Melora Cosmetics is entitled to charge:
- interest on late payment, as set by law, on the amount overdue, and
- reasonable collection costs (however, no more than):
- 15% on amounts of up to SEK 2,500
- 10% on the next 2,500 SEK
- 5% on the next 5,000 SEK
- lowest 450 SEK
We are always free to offer you better terms than these.
Section 18 – Complaints
Melora Cosmetics maintains a straightforward and easy-to-find complaints process.
To complain about a product or service, do so within a reasonable period after you notice the fault. Explain the issue clearly and in full and send your complaint to contact@meloramakeup.com.
Complaints are answered within 14 days. Should we need longer, we will confirm that we received it in that same period and tell you when to expect a reply.
Section 19 – Disputes
All agreements between Melora Cosmetics and consumers are governed by Swedish law. Any dispute is to be settled by a Swedish court, where Malmö District Court acts as first instance, except where mandatory legislation provides differently.
Section 20 – Additions or deviations
Additions to or departures from these terms and conditions must be made in writing and accepted by both parties.
